Nestled in the heart of historic Esztergom, Grand Hotel Esztergom truly exceeded my expectations. the proximity to iconic landmarks such as the Basilica and the Danube made exploration effortless, immersing us in the rich tapestry of Hungarian history. Our package, which included access to the rejuvenating Aquasziget Spa, indulgent half board meals, and a vibrant New Year's party, proved to be excellent value for money. the attentive staff, well-versed in multiple languages including Hungarian and English, ensured our every need was met with a warm smile and unwavering hospitality. Check-in and check-out were seamless, leaving us more time to savor the tranquil relaxation areas, complete with jacuzzis, saunas, and a steam cabin. As a historian with a passion for Central European culture, the hotel's close proximity to sightseeing spots like the castle overlooking the Danube enriched my understanding of the region's storied past.
